Can't Donate Through Dollars?
Our goal is simple: to raise and distribute funds locally to western Montanans suffering from cancer. We appreciate and encourage support in a variety of efforts. Below are ideas of fun and different ways to get involved, donate and support this cause.
Poker Games: get together with a group of your friends and play some poker. Donate all or half of the winning hands to Team Up Montana through www.teamupmontana.com or by contacting the St. Patrick Hospital and Health Foundation at 406.329.5640. Or coordinate with different facilities that host poker games and see if they would be willing to host a poker tournament that benefited Team Up Montana.
Donate your Griz Football Ticket to a Survivor: We are looking for Griz football ticket holders to donate their October 29, 2011 football tickets for cancer survivors to attend the game. Contact 406.329.2905 to donate your ticket.
Facebook: Make Team Up Montana a “cause” on Facebook and invite friends to join and donate a dollar to your “cause”’.
Bake Sale: Host a bake sale with your friends and family, donate the proceeds to Team Up Montana through www.teamupmontana.com or the St. Patrick Hospital and Health Foundation at 406.329.5640.
Online Networking:
Door-to-Door Donation: Go door-to-door and ask for donations, we’ll provide you with handout materials regarding the Team Up Montana event. For more information call 406.329.2905.
Car Wash: Host a car wash with friends and donate proceeds to Team Up Montana through www.teamupmontana.com or by contacting the St. Patrick Hospital and Health Foundation at 406.329.5640
Lemonade Sale: Set up a lemonade stand and donate the collected funds to Team Up Montana through www.teamupmontana.com or by contacting the St. Patrick Hospital and Health Foundation at 406.329.5640
Artists or Musician: Are you an artist or musician? Host a show and donate funds or a portion of your sales proceeds to Team Up Montana through www.teamupmontana.com or by contacting the St. Patrick Hospital and Health Foundation at 406.329.5640.
Locks-for-Love: Maybe you can’t donate financially but you can help cancer patients by growing your hair and cutting it for donation to Locks For Love.
Grow Hope: Plant pink flowers or shrubs in honor of survivors or those who are currently suffering from cancer.
Volunteer: We are looking for volunteers to spread the word about Team Up Montana. Volunteer throughout the months of August, September and October at the Saturday Farmer’s Market, Wednesday’s Lunch in the Park or Downtown Tonight to handout flyers and create a buzz about Team Up Montana. We’ll provide you with the materials you need.
Honor a Survivor: Do you know a cancer survivor? Ask them if they would be interested in participating in the opening Griz game ceremony on October 29, 2011. Direct them to 406.329.2905 for more information or direct them to our survivor page.
